	About Us
	The battle cry of the Protestant Reformation was Sola Scriptura, Sola Fide, Sola Gratia and Soli Deo Gloria - by Scripture alone, through faith alone, by grace alone, to the glory of God alone. Nearly five hundred years ago men of God recognized that their culture had forgotten what was most important in this life and they called their culture and their church to reform itself - to reprioritize! Another phrase oft heard from the Reformation was Essclesia reformata, semper reformenda which means the church reformed and always reforming. Somewhere along the line churches forgot this principle. Worship, evangelism, even commitment became staled. It is time once again for men and women of God to stand up and call their culture and their church to reform itself - to get back to the things in life that really matter. To this end we, the members of Eastside Baptist Church, are committed. Eastside Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church that exists to give glory to Jesus Christ through growing His kingdom. This goal is put into action by reaching the world with the Good News of the Gospel; by making disciples of all who come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; by coming together in love, encouragement and fellowship with other believers; and, ultimately, by encouraging the worship of our creator - God. It is our heartfelt desire that you will join us here at Eastside. Once here, we believe you will experience the love that we have for each other and for Christ. Our hope lies in Jesus Christ who conquered sin and death so that we could live a life of peace and joy in this world regardless of our circumstances.
